The Foundation for Rural and Economic Development in Africa works to empower rural communities in Africa. With your help, we can create a healthy and vibrant Africa whose citizens experience self-sustainability and are able to reach their full potential.

Rural communities face a multitude of issues in food insecurity, diseases such as malaria and cholera, and poor infrastructure. Many youths drop out of school early to help their families obtain food and water, and those who do attend school often find themselves in underfunded and understaffed ones.

Our approach to development is to invest in the people and allow them to unleash their potential. Our proactive solutions include education, promoting a sense of cultural understanding, pride and belonging; providing rural farmers with the tools that they need to develop sustainable farms; funding initiatives that encourage self- reliance and alleviate poverty; and assisting in the building of sustainable institutions that support grassroots development.
